 56 percent of todays late model Dodge trucks have suspension modifications including tire and wheel upgrades. With the added leverage applied to the trucks steering components, the steering box takes a serious beating. Defiants Steering Box Support provides added protection to the sector shaft of the steering box and prevents premature wear to the steering boxes interior components. One piece consrutction. Tucks up beatifully, above the factory sway bar for an almost invisable install.

The 2 bolt flange bearing sits on top of the flange plate. This is a captive design meaning that should the fasteners ever become loose the flange bearing and sector nut will not fall out or fall off.

Will fit with sway bar drop blocks !  If your Dodge has a modified suspension system, with drop blocks, specify when placing your order. We will include the correct fastener length.
